Karen P. Palmer, Ph. D., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Shamanic Practitioner who since 1995 has studied with Peruvian Shaman and Mystic Americo Yabar in the lifeways of Andean cosmology, both in Peru and in the United States. She has also received extensive training from Michael Harner's Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and has additionally trained with Native American, Chilean, Tibetan, Hindu, Celtic, and Sufi master teachers, shamans and healers for over seventeen years. Karen leads Peruvian and core shamanic workshops, conducts drumming circles, and gives seminars and lectures on Peruvian mysticism in Southern California and Port Angeles, WA.
